Reliable train to ground communication
Trains are being operated in a very complex environment, with tons of data to be transferred from trains to the wayside and vice versa.
The goal of this research project is to replace the manual hand-over with automatic, real-time updates over a wireless network. The challenge here is that trains move at very high speeds and are powered by a high-voltage power grid: very hostile circumstances to stable, wireless connections.

Thanks to TRACK, Televic was able to speed up the development of iSync. Moreover, it was the first company that was able to transfer software from ground to train, a very important innovation for lifecycle management.
