From simple line structure to full redundant ring architecture, different types of redundancy levels - with adjustable response times - are offered.

By connecting different types of switches, the total number of devices on the train can be reduced, avoiding the need for specific train-wide switches. Some architectures also offer the possibility to support doubled bandwidth on backbone level.
