TRACK project closed successfully

On October 27th, Televic presented the results of the TRACK project, a research cooperation between Televic Rail and several partners (IBBT, Bombardier, Newtec, Nokia Siemens Networks, several universities) on wireless communication networks in a railway environment.

Eurostar

Eurostar International Ltd has appointed Televic Rail, in cooperation with Orange Business Services, the contract to provide various on-board passenger information systems in respect of Eurostar’s existing fleet of trains.

Televic Rail presents iCoM

Televic Rail presents its fully integrated on-board and off-board information and communication system. iCoM manages all passenger information, infotainment and entertainment functions on- and off-board the train.

Televic opens a new factory in Bulgaria

Televic opens a new factory in Bulgaria. 1880m² become available for manufacturing and R&D activities. On this occasion the board of directors of Televic visited the new facilities in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Bombardier Zefiro 380

Televic will deliver various types of systems on board the revolutionary very high speed Zefiro 380 train designed by Bombardier for the Ministry of Railways in China. The train is designed for an operating speed of 380 km/h and will propose major innovative concepts such as the Flexx bogie monitoring systems.

Regio2N / Omneo

Televic-Rail has been selected to supply the on-board audio communication systems that will equip Bombardier's new innovative Omneo platform. These regional double decker trains will be deployed in France under the name Porteur Hyperdense and will be operated by SNCF.

Innotrans 2010

Televic will present its latest developments in the areas of digital passenger information systems, entertainment and infotainment from 21st to 24th September.
